Original member and co-founder when the band formed for the 1992 Sydney University competition.
Left in July 1996 to attend university for a PhD in mathematics and to focus on animal rights activism.

Replaced Ben Costello in May 1996. He was a dedicated fan of the band before joining, having once gotten a setlist signed and framed for his girlfriend; Ben Costello personally taught him the band's songs at his house. The moniker "The Doctor" originated during his audition; the band's lead singer, Jason, rejected the name "Lindsay" as "not punk rock." The name evolved from "Dr. Lindeman's" (a reference to a cask wine television advertisement) to its current abbreviated form.
